On August 5, 2020, at approximately 4;30 pm, Officer DelaCruz was flagged down in the area of North 5th Street and Hamilton Street while working an Off Duty Construction Post. The victim stated that his bicycle was just taken and provided a description and direction of flight of the actor. Officer Sackerman observed an individual matching the provided description in the area of 5th Street and Cross Street. Upon stopping the individual, he stated to police that the bicycle was on the ground and he believed it was being thrown out. The bicycle was returned to the victim and the 35 year old suspect was identified by officers and was found to be wanted for an active warrant out of Atlantic City, He was placed under arrest and processed accordingly.
