On February 24 at 10PM, Officer Patrick Triano was on patrol in the area of the FER and Cross St. when he observed a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed, crossing over the center traffic line multiple times. He conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of FER and Central Ave. Officers Marc Silva, Amaris Gracian and Sergeant John Brown arrived on scene to assist. After a brief investigation, the front seat passenger, 20, from Newark was found to be in possession of suspected drugs and a pellet Gun. He was arrested, charged and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
