On February 12 at 12PM, police were called to North Third Street on a report of an assault. The victim states she was driving on Cleveland Ave and drove passed a white Sprinter van making a U-turn. The victim drove around the van and the driver of the van ‘layed on the horn’. The victim parked her car nearby on the same street and was surprised by the driver of the van who approached her driver’s window and sprayed pepper spray in her face and then fled the scene.
The suspect is female and is described as black or dark skinned, in her mid-twenties wearing a blue uniform and a yellow work vest. The victim believes the license plate was from Pennsylvania and started with ‘ML’. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harrison Police at 973-483-4100
