On February 5 at 6AM, police were dispatched to Washington Street on a report of a burglary to a van involving possession of a handgun. The caller stated he saw a male stranger exit the passenger door of his van. He confronted the suspect and was immediately punched in the face. The victim attempted to defend himself until the offender pulled a black pistol from his waistband. The victim tried to distance himself as the suspect got into a Ford Explorer and drove off. No plate number was obtained and there were no witnessed to the crime. Two expensive demo saws had been removed from the van.
