On April 8, 2024, Officer Versagius was dispatched to the 700 block of North 5th Street on a burglary to auto report. The victim stated that she parked her motor vehicle in front of her residence last night and when she returned to her vehicle this morning, she noticed that vehicles passenger interior was in disarray. She further stated that a power tool valued at $200.00 was missing. Officers observed no signs of forced entry and the victim stated that she may have left her vehicle unlocked. The investigation is currently on-going.
