On January 17, 2020, at approximately 2 PM, PO Manzano was on patrol in the area of Harrison Ave and Passaic Ave when he was flagged down by Speedway Management. Management provided a description of an individual and advised police that the individual just stole items from the store and fled by walking east on Harrison Ave. PO Manzano found an individual matching the description of the suspect. Police stopped the individual and he stated that he only took the food because he was hungry and did not have money. The 31 year male was placed under arrest and charged with Shoplifting. He was turned over to the Hudson County Jail.
