On January 28 at 2AM, Sergeant Corey Karas and Officer Matt Murphy were engaged in Crime Suppression when they observed two males near FER and Hamilton that appeared to be involved in some type of argument. As the officers approached the men, they noticed they were obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol. One of the males had a large bulge in his waistband and continued to reach for his pockets. When officers patted him down, they discovered two opened glass beer containers. The second male, 36 from Kearny, was found to be in possession of a glass pipe used to inhale narcotics. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
