On October 27 at 6PM, an unknown male entered the AT&T store and attempted to activate cell phone accounts. He provided a New Jersey Driver’s License for identification. Store personnel could not verify that the license was authentic. The suspect left the store when employees notified him of the discrepancy. The information was provided to the Harrison Police who attempted to contact the real person named on the driver’s license, who was most likely the victim of identity theft.
