On Tuesday, April 4th, 2024, at 5:45 PM, police responded to the Overpass on Cleveland Ave near the interstate 280 W Ramp on a report of juveniles vandalizing an electronic sign board. The graffiti style writing on the sign board matched several styles of vandalism seen throughout the town of Harrison. Police canvased the area for cameras in the area that may have captured the crime and the unknown actors involved, while our Crime Suppression Unit covered several areas throughout town in search for the suspects involved. There were numerous cameras located on residences, that were able to capture the incident. Residents assisted with the ongoing investigation and provided us with camera footage. The Harrison Police Detective Bureau followed up with the investigation and were able to identify the two juveniles involved.
