This is a message from Mayor James A. Fife and the Harrison Town Council.
The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, also known as PVSC, owns and operates many sewer pipes under the streets of Harrison. PVSC has advised that it needs to perform extensive work on its Branch Interceptor Sewer under Kingsland Avenue between Hamilton Street and Harrison Avenue. The work is scheduled to start January 2, 2024 and is expected to last approximately 8 months. During the work, Kingsland Avenue will be closed to vehicles.
At the Mayor & Council’s request, PVSC will be hosting an open forum for Harrison residents this Friday, December 15th at 7pm at the Harrison High School Auditorium, 401 Kingsland Avenue.
