PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
12-22-2022
This is a message from Mayor James A. Fife and the Harrison Town Council.
As you know, Winter Storm Elliot is bringing the potential for flooding in Hudson County, including here in Harrison.
The Harrison Police Department will be closing some low-lying streets starting tonight.
We urge all residents to remove their automobiles from flood-prone areas in Town. To facilitate this, from now until Noon on Wednesday, December 28th, the Harrison Parking Garage next to the PATH Station will be open free of charge. No parking tickets will be issued, just drive in and follow the signs to park inside the Garage.
Again, parking at the Harrison Parking Garage is free from now until Noon on Wednesday, December 28th.
If you have an emergency during the Storm, please call the Harrison Police Dispatch Center at 973-483-4101, or 9-11
This Notice will also be posted on the Town website’s homepage at www.townofharrisonnj.com.
Thank you for your cooperation, and stay safe.
