On September 22 at 10 PM, Officers Michael Gregory and Elizabeth DeLacruz were conducting radar enforcement on S FER Blvd when they observed a Clifton male, 33, stumbling in the middle of the street. He appear heavily intoxicated; officers approached him and escorted him safely to the side of the road where he could sit down. Within moments, he became unresponsive, his lips turned blue and he slumped over. The officers immediately observed the signs of a possible drug overdose and administered Narcan while requesting EMS. The male began to regain consciousness and admitted that he was a Heroin user. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
