On September 18, at 2:45 PM, an Alpine resident reported that his vehicle had been stolen while in the store area of Pechter’s Bakery.  Unfortunately, he had left the vehicle running, believing he would only be a few minutes.

Residents are urged not to leave an unattended vehicle running at any time.  With the colder months around the corner, drivers often leave their vehicles running so they remain warm.  Unfortunately, this is an attractive target for car thieves and a safety issue for children.
