On February 6 at 2AM, Officer Michael Gregory was running radar at FER and Harrison when a vehicle passed him at a high rate of speed. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and interviewed the driver as Officer Joe Summers arrived to assist. Officer Gregory smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver and vehicle compartment. The driver, 26 from Bloomfield, was asked to step out of the vehicle but could not perform any of the roadside tests. He was arrested for DWI and transported to headquarters for processing. Breath samples concluded he was twice the legal limit.
