On January 20 at 5AM, Sgt. Stan Titterington observed a driver asleep at the wheel at the intersection of Cleveland and Second Street. Off-duty Officer Ray McGuire was on his way in to work and stopped to provide assistance. The driver, a 25 year old Harrison male, was barely able to communicate due to his level of intoxication and could not stand on his own. Officers Michael Gregory and Amaris Gracian arrived to assist. At headquarters, he was processed and charged with DWI after breath testing revealed he was over the legal limit. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses.
