On January 20 at 3AM, Sgt. Stan Titterington conducted a motor vehicle stop on Cross Street when he observed a vehicle driving in the opposite direction of the One Way. The compartment of the vehicle had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The driver, 27 from Harrison, could barely stand unassisted. The driver was arrested at the scene. At headquarters he claimed he wasn’t driving and refused to provide samples of his breath. He was charged with refusal, DWI and received motor vehicle summonses.
