On January 19 at 3AM, Officer Pat Triano conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle had drifted into the oncoming lane on Harrison Avenue. While speaking with the driver, he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and could see that the driver appeared intoxicated. Officers Michael Gregory and Amaris Gracian arrived to assist. The driver admitted that he had been drinking and smoking marijuana. Suspected marijuana was seized at the scene. The 51 year old PA resident could not complete roadside tests. He was arrested, charged for DWI, possession of CDS and motor vehicle violations. Additionally, the breath testing revealed he was more than twice the legal limit.
