On October 15 at 1:30PM, a female caller state that her vehicle had been burglarized. She had parked her car temporarily, and left it running to speak with another motorist parked nearby. While she was distracted, an unknown suspect entered her running vehicle and stole her key fob, wallet and phone from the front seat. There were no witnesses to the theft. Some of her property was recovered the next day where it has apparently been discarded a few blocks away.
All residents are urged to lock their vehicles when unattended and reminded never to leave them running when unoccupied.
